With wireless Level 2 charging, EV owners have more freedom on where they can place their charger. The base system is connected to a 240-volt outlet, but the placement of that outlet is much more flexible. The Plugless wall unit can be installed anywhere within the driver’s line of sight during parking. It acts as a guidance system to let drivers know they’re lined up with the wireless charging pad. Once parked over the wireless charging pad, the vehicle charges itself.
